The secret lies in the step-by-step boiling of barley in a large amount of water with a subsequent change of liquid. This allows the grains to open up faster, become soft, and absorb the necessary moisture. The groats do not get clogged with starch, so they cook faster and do not become sticky.

How to quickly boil barley
