Aurika Rotaru Forgave Tonya Matviyenko: Why the Case Did Not Go to Court.
According to inkorr.com: The conflict between singers Aurika Rotaru and Tonya Matviyenko has ended in peace. Rotaru decided not to go to court and forgave Tonya for using her works without proper permission. The son of the famous poet Yuriy Rybiynskyi noted that they have already let Matviyenko go in order not to escalate the dispute around this situation.
“Evgen slightly scared Tonya... There could have been a court case if Tonya had filed a lawsuit against us – then we would have met in court. More precisely, not 'we' and not I personally, but lawyers from the agency. But I say: it would have been enough for her to just ask... And then the matter would not have gone to court... And we talked with the Rybiynskys and have already forgiven Tonya for those sins that were. For the memory of Nina, we decided not to inflate this scandal. By the way, I also didn't want things to turn out this way”
It is important to note that Tonya Matviyenko has already faced issues related to copying works she did not create and was warned about the possibility of a court hearing due to these violations. However, the court process was avoided.
This case highlights the importance of respecting copyright in the music industry, as such situations can have serious consequences for artists. We hope this incident serves as a lesson for both Tonya and other performers, reminding them of the necessity to respect the creativity of colleagues.
