New podcast from Big Brother stars
According to The Sun: Big Brother stars Ali Bromley and Lily Benson are back together to make an important announcement a year after their appearance on the ITV show.
Ali, a psychology expert and the winner of the last season, has launched a new podcast alongside her former housemate Lily.
Instagram/@thesocialbatterypodThe duo shared exciting news with fans, announcing that the first episode will be released this Friday.
The reality stars released a clip where they talked about their experience on Big Brother, including how the support team helps contestants behind the scenes.
Ali also admitted she unexpectedly ran into her former rival Marcello, with whom she had constant conflicts in the house.
Lily, for her part, brought up the topic of hygiene, as she often received remarks from other contestants.
“Countdown is on… The Social Battery Podcast officially launches THIS FRIDAY!!!! We honestly can’t wait to share it with you. See you Friday.”
Fans have eagerly awaited news of the reunion.
One commentator wrote: “Cs is what we needed, more Ali and Lily content! Been missed. Cannot wait to listen, so excited EEEK.”
Another added: “Genuinely can’t wait!”
Another fan noted: “I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”
Life after victory
Ali, 39, won a jackpot of 90 thousand pounds last year but made a surprising confession last month when asked about what she was doing after the show.
”I have done some charity work, but yeah, I have gone back to work,”
Ali returned to work as a psychologist just a year after her big win.
Previously, she talked about her work: “It’s quite difficult, it’s quite demanding and I work in highly stressful situations.”
Ali won the second season of Big Brother with an impressive 52% of the votes in the final, taking home the grand prize after defeating rival Marcello Spooks, who came in second.
Ali and Lily became close friends in the house, where Ali often supported her younger friend, who was only 20 years old.
However, not everyone was so patient with Lily's antics, as some contestants often complained about her behavior, hygiene, and loudness.
Lily was evicted in sixth place, while Ali reached the final and defeated Marcello.
