According to The Sun: Victoria Beckham shared her experiences, talking about a serious eating disorder she remained silent about in front of her loved ones after the Spice Girls era.

In a new Netflix documentary presented at a festive event in London, Victoria admits that her desire to stay slim led to starvation, resulting in her learning to 'lie very well' as she lost control over what was being said about her.

She confessed to hiding her condition from her family, trying to 'stay relevant' after the band split up.

“It was a lot, and it was hard. I had no control over what was written about me, over the photos that were taken, and I probably wanted to control that.

“I could control this with clothing, I could control my weight, and I controlled it in an extremely unhealthy way.

“When you have an eating disorder, you become a very good liar, and I was never honest about it with my parents.”

Lost Her Identity

Victoria describes in detail the loss of identity during her transition from Spice Girls to designer, while her husband David's football career thrived.

She recalls times when she had breast enhancements, wore extensions, and abused tanning.

Her parents, Jackie and Tony, recounted how Victoria faced weight issues back in drama school when she was called 'fat'.
