Ivo Bobul performed in front of world leaders

According to inkorr.com: Famous Ukrainian singer Ivo Bobul spoke about his performances before world leaders during his career. Among them were the presidents of the occupied territories, including Transnistria. The artist also mentioned that he sang in front of Vladimir Putin in Crimea and Alexander Lukashenko.

In an interview, Bobul shared his feelings about these performances, specifically mentioning his concert in support of Viktor Yanukovych. He emphasized that at that time he didn't have a full understanding of the political context and was simply doing his job, unaware of all the details.

"Before Lukashenko, Putin. They were in Transnistria 10 years ago, they invited me there. Me and the 'Pesnyary' were there. I don't remember the name of the person, but he was" - admitted Ivo Bobul.
"At that time, I didn't know what kind of person he was. He was just the president, he was elected. And I went to sing. Can you really say that I am a traitor after that? Why am I a traitor? What did I do? Among those guys who are now heroes, there are those who also sang for Yanukovych... That was life" - noted Ivo Bobul.

Ivo Bobul emphasized that at those moments he was not aware of the entire situation and was simply carrying out his musical activity. The singer tried to maintain a distance between his creativity and political realities, often putting himself in a difficult position as he was not always aware of the consequences of his performances.
