Young Theater Canceled Cabaret: Why the Audience Won't See the Performance.
Young Theater Canceled the Performance 'Cabaret'
According to inkorr.com: The Young Theater announced that the popular performance 'Cabaret' will not take place this theater season. This news was first reported last month by 'Glavkom', but the theater's press service initially denied this information. Director Olena Kolyadenko also did not comment on the situation.
“We sincerely thank everyone who loves this performance, and we appreciate your interest. We promise - ahead awaits many other bright premieres and meetings at the Young Theater,” the theater stated.
The reasons for the cancellation of 'Cabaret' remain unknown. According to unofficial information, the Ukrainian side violated the terms of the Broadway production license, which prohibited the audience from taking photos and videos during the performance. This became the reason for problems at the Young Theater.
Olena Kolyadenko and the Freedom Ballet team refused to comment on this situation, and the Young Theater did not respond to journalists' inquiries.
The performance 'Cabaret' was a licensed production at the Young Theater and gained popularity among the audience. However, due to the violation of the license terms, it was canceled for the current season.
This news will undoubtedly disappoint fans of the performance 'Cabaret'. However, it is worth hoping that the Young Theater will offer new interesting productions in the future that can delight the audience and fill this void.
