Jeremy Dufresne Is Not Leaving His Job as a Boat Captain

According to The Sun: Lana Del Rey's husband, Jeremy Dufresne, despite being married to a wealthy superstar, has no plans of leaving his job as a boat captain. His manager confirmed this.

The couple got married on September 26 last year in a Louisiana swamp, where Jeremy works as a crocodile tour guide.

The two first met in 2019 when Lana organized a tour with Jeremy and have kept in touch since then. After the wedding, he rarely accompanies Lana on trips, including Paris Fashion Week, which they arrived at on a private jet.

At the event, Jeremy appeared in casual attire: a blue and white jacket with the words “Go Gator Go” and a baseball cap, showcasing his humble roots.

He has no plans to leave his job, despite Lana's wealth being estimated at $40 million, as he aims to earn his own living.

Chad Mazern, who took over 'Airboat Tours by Arthur' two years ago, a company that has been operating for three decades, confirmed that Jeremy is still working part-time.

“Jeremy still works part-time. Arthur is my father; he is retired. He sometimes comes back to work when he feels like it, just like Jeremy.”

He also noted that Jeremy's popularity has contributed to an increase in bookings for tours.

First Anniversary Celebration

Jeremy and Lana celebrated their anniversary in a modest style in Des Allemands, where he conducts tours. On Instagram, he wrote, “I just want to wish my dear bride a happy first anniversary. Here’s to many years of love and happy tears.”

Lana also shared a picture of a cake and spoke about their celebratory trip: “Thank you San Ysidro Ranch for allowing us to do what we do best – traveling open roads from coast to coast.”

Recently it was revealed that the couple lives in a modest home estimated at about $273,000. Jeremy purchased the land a few years ago and built the house in 2021.

This house is described as “a single-story wooden house with five rooms and a dock for boats.”

The town is known as “The Catfish Capital of the Universe” and is located on the Bayou des Allemands.
