In October 2024, Ostap confirmed his relationship with theater critic Margarita Tkach. He noted that he first met her at the Franko Theater in Kyiv, where he has been working for many years.

His first wife was Tatyana Kaplina, with whom he has a son named Dmitry. He was also married to ballerina Tatyana.
