Frosts of up to -20 have hit Ukraine: when to expect warming.

According to ТСН: Today, cloudy weather with clearings is expected in Ukraine. The wind will be variable, with a speed of 5-10 m/s.

In most western regions and in the Vinnytsia region, light snow precipitation is possible, while the rest of the territory will remain without significant precipitation. Caution is advised on the roads due to possible ice in places.

Air Temperature

In the northern regions, the temperature during the day will range from -10 to -15°C, in the southern regions, in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia - from -2 to +7°C, and in other areas - from -7 to -12°C.

Weather in Kyiv

In the capital, it is also cloudy with clearings, without significant precipitation. There may be places with ice on the road. The wind will be from the west, 5-10 m/s, and the daytime temperature in the region will range from -10 to -15°C, while in Kyiv it is expected to be -13 to -15°C.

It is reminded that Ukraine was hit by snowstorms, and then strong frosts came — in some regions it was -20 degrees.

According to information from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the frosty wave that has started will last at least until January 14-15.

Thus, the weather in Ukraine will remain cold with an average temperature below zero, accompanied by local precipitation in the form of snow. Caution on the roads and adherence to safety measures remain relevant recommendations for drivers and pedestrians during these winter days.
