Air Raid Alert Across Ukraine

According to TSN.ua: On February 21, air raid sirens were activated in Kyiv and several other Ukrainian regions due to a confirmed threat of ballistic weapon use. Ukrainian Air Force officials reported the danger originated from Russia's Bryansk region. According to operational sources, one 'Iskander-M' ballistic missile and 120 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched into Ukrainian territory after 12:50. This latest attack is part of a sustained Russian campaign of long-range strikes targeting civilian infrastructure and population centers.

The Russian military assault was recorded not only in Kyiv but also in the Odesa, Sumy, and Poltava regions. In response to the attack, Ukrainian defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 106 of the hostile drones, demonstrating active and robust defensive measures. While the situation is currently under control, the threat from Russian forces remains active and ongoing.

Ukrainian Forces on High Alert

This incident underscores the persistent threat posed by Russia and the critical importance of Ukrainian military readiness to repel such attacks. The destruction of a significant number of drones highlights the effectiveness of Ukraine's air defense systems, which continue to counter security challenges amid the ongoing armed conflict. The nation's air defenses have been significantly strengthened with Western-supplied systems since the full-scale invasion began.

It is crucial that the civilian population receives timely warnings of such threats, which can help prevent casualties among non-combatants.
