One Dead, Five Wounded as Russian Forces Strike Kharkiv and 17 Nearby Communities.
Russian Military Assaults on Kharkiv
According to Novyny.live: On June 6 and 7, 2023, Russian forces launched a series of attacks targeting the city of Kharkiv and 17 settlements across the region. The bombardments resulted in one fatality and left five others injured.
In the Dergachi community, a 51-year-old man was killed by shelling. Across various parts of Kharkiv Oblast, five people sustained injuries during the assaults. Specifically:
- In the village of Russkiye Tishki, a 64-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman were harmed;
- In Spodobovka, a 46-year-old man was wounded;
- In Budarki, a 57-year-old local resident suffered injuries;
- In Molodova, a 45-year-old woman was hurt.
Reports indicate that in Molodova, an FPV drone struck a car, igniting a fire that spread over 6 square meters. In Kharkiv, a Russian drone hit the Saltivka district, damaging an office building and a vehicle. Additionally, in Dergachi, an enemy drone targeted a gas station, causing two above-ground fuel tanks to catch fire. In the settlement of Zolochiv, an FPV drone damaged three cars, with one person injured in the incident.
Over the course of the day, the Russian military deployed:
- six guided aerial bombs;
- five 'Molniya' type drones;
- ten FPV drones;
- 32 drones of other varieties.
In the Bohodukhiv district, the assaults destroyed residential houses, a shop, administrative buildings, and vehicles. In the Kupiansk district, private homes, apartment buildings, and a civilian enterprise were damaged. In the village of Ivanivka, Izium district, a drone crash sparked a fire in a pine forest floor covering an area of one hectare.
