Attacks on Russian Military Infrastructure

According to TSN.ua: On February 27, Ukrainian Defense Forces launched strikes against targets critical to Russia's military and economic capabilities. These operations are part of a broader strategy to degrade the logistical support for Russian forces on occupied Ukrainian territory. A key target was the 'Luhanska' oil depot, located in the temporarily occupied region, which sustained a massive fire following the attack, indicating severe damage to the enemy's infrastructure.

In addition, Ukrainian strikes hit fuel and lubricant storage depots in several cities within the Donetsk region:

  • Mariupol
  • Novotoretske
  • Koptieve

These actions are aimed at diminishing the enemy's resource base. Separately, in the Kherson region, near the settlement of Raiske, a Russian drone command post was destroyed.

Strategic Objectives of the Strikes

The strikes represent a concerted effort by Ukrainian forces to neutralize military threats from Russia and undermine its economic foothold in occupied areas. By targeting critical infrastructure, Ukraine seeks to disrupt enemy logistics and resource availability, a vital component for its defense in a protracted war. This campaign is designed to systematically weaken Russia's military potential and its capacity to sustain combat operations.
