Green Grey continue their tour: Murik announced a concert after Diesel's funeral

According to inkorr.com: The lead singer of the music group Green Grey, Dmytro Muravytskyi, better known as Murik, shared his feelings after the funeral of his friend Andrii Diesel Yatsenko. He spoke about the loss and announced upcoming concerts. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', referring to Muravytskyi's social media.

“For the fourth morning in a row, I wake up and cannot accept this reality. But there is no longer with us Andriukhа, Andrii Diesel Yatsenko. Yesterday (October 23), we laid him to rest. But life, business must continue. Therefore, first of all, I officially announce that the concert scheduled for October 30 will take place,” Muravytskyi noted.

This is about the Green Grey concert, which will take place at the Caribbean Club in the capital. This performance is part of six concerts as part of a tour that was set to start on October 24 in Dnipro. After Diesel's death, information spread about the cancellation of Green Grey's tours. However, in a new video message, Murik clarified an important point.

“Regarding the canceled tour, I believe that it is a mistake in the wording itself. It is not canceled, it is just postponed. Understand, given the circumstances. Therefore, rest in peace, bro. The show must go on. Rock on,” Dmytro Muravytskyi concluded.

During the farewell ceremony and Diesel's funeral, Murik refrained from making comments. Andrii Yatsenko died on October 20 from heart failure caused by ischemic heart disease. After the farewell, he was cremated at Baikove Cemetery. The rock band Green Grey was founded in Kyiv in 1993 and gained popularity thanks to hits like “Under the Rain”, “Mazafaka”, “Emigrant”, which were initially written in Russian but were translated into Ukrainian during the war. The premiere of the Ukrainian version of “Under the Rain” was planned during the tour.

Dmytro Muravytskyi, known as Murik, confirmed that the Green Grey concert will still take place, despite the postponement of the tour due to circumstances. The musician expressed his gratitude and respect for his friend's memory, urging to continue the tour and show, as required by the global rock scene.

Thus, the band Green Grey plans to continue its activities despite the tragic loss. The concert at the Caribbean Club will become a symbol of memory for Diesel and a confirmation of the musical collective's resilience in the face of difficulties. Murik's words that 'the show must go on' have become an important message for fans and stage colleagues.
