Viewers outraged by the 'simple' question of the show's finale
According to The Sun: Fans of the '1% Club' were left disappointed by the final question, which many considered to be 'the easiest of all.' Three contestants fought for a share of the prize fund of £93,000.
ITV ITVThe contestants decided to answer the final question instead of taking a smaller amount of money. The show's host, comedian Lee Mack, witnessed a furious reaction on social media when the episode aired.
Viewers began actively discussing the difficulty of the final question, claiming it was too simple. The question was: “Look at the image below. At the start, LLL=A, and RRR=H. What word represents the next: LLR, LLL, LRR, RRL, RRL.”
On platform X, one viewer noted:
“This was the simplest question in 1% history!”
Another added:
“I believe the 1% question was easier than the 5% question today.”
However, not all viewers were confident in their abilities. One admitted:
“I didn’t even understand the 1% question, let alone the answer.”
The correct answer was the word 'BADGE'. All three contestants answered correctly and received £31,000 each.
The show's host Lee Mack told one of the winners:
“I would certainly like to remind our priest that money can't buy happiness.”
The priest jokingly replied:
“No, but it can buy a better class of sadness.”
