The state register system, which was damaged by a Russian cyberattack, has returned to operation and is now registering civil status acts. The Ministry of Justice reported this.

Departments for the registration of civil status acts can now enter data on births, marriages, divorces, name changes, and deaths.

All documents that were issued in paper form, due to the temporary disconnection of the register, have been transferred to the electronic system. Their digital copies will appear in the register soon.

Tomorrow, January 5, the Ministry of Justice plans to resume data exchange with other government bodies, including the State Tax Service, the Pension Fund, and the Ministry of Defense.

Also tomorrow, online services offered in the 'Diia' program will be available. Applications for exemption from mobilization for parents of three children under the age of 18 will again become possible.

Let us remind you that due to an epidemic of Russian hacker attacks in Ukraine, the operation of three registers was restored only on the eleventh day.

As reported by 'Glavcom', due to malfunctions in the operation of certain state registers, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs temporarily suspend the provision of services for vehicle registration, including vehicle scrapping.

Later, Olga Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, stated that this cyberattack on state registers is the most extensive in recent times.

According to Danil Globa, Deputy Director of YouControl, this situation negatively affects the operation of many state and private systems that use register data.

The Ministry of Justice previously tried to predict the recovery timelines for the registers after this cyberattack.
