Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Andrii Yevlakhov.
On December 28, 2024, during a combat mission in the Kursk region, soldier Andrii Yevlakhov, a resident of Pyriatyn, was killed. This was reported by the Pyriatyn community.
Andrii was born on March 2, 1993, in Pyriatyn. The boy became an orphan at a young age and was raised by his grandmother from the age of nine.
Andrii Yevlakhov studied at the city school No. 4. After graduating from school, he obtained a junior specialist degree in accounting at the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine's vocational and technical training center.
From 2018 to 2021, he worked at the limited liability company 'Pyriatyn Delicacies'.
In April 2022, he voluntarily went to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers.
Andrii Yevlakhov's life was cut short on December 28, 2024, during a combat mission in the Kursk region.
The farewell to the fallen defender took place on January 4, 2025, in the square in front of the city council's administrative building in Pyriatyn.

We remember those killed by Russian invaders, light candles in their memory, and bow our heads in mourning during the national minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who perished in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of the enemy's military attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
