Trump announced the creation of a new Office of Shipbuilding at the White House

President Donald Trump informed Congress about the establishment of a new Office of Shipbuilding at the White House. The main goal of this office is to reduce taxation in the shipbuilding industry. Trump stated: 'We will create a new Office of Shipbuilding at the White House and offer special tax incentives to bring this industry back home to America.' He also reminded that previously the U.S. produced many ships and plans that after the Office is established, even more will be produced.

Mutual tariffs will be implemented starting April 2

Additionally, Trump announced the introduction of mutual tariffs with other countries that will correspond to trade barriers. These tariffs will take effect starting April 2. Trump stated: 'Countries such as the European Union, China, Brazil, India, Mexico, and Canada are charging us extremely higher tariffs than we do, and it is unfair.'
