Ukrenergo announced three periods of electricity restrictions on December 6.
Electricity Disconnection Schedule in Ukraine
On December 6, planned electricity disconnections in Ukraine will take place with varying intensity throughout the day. Ukrenergo published a detailed schedule of restrictions for different consumer groups.
According to Ukrenergo, there are three periods for household consumers with a varying number of disconnection queues: from 6:00 to 7:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00 there will be one queue, while from 7:00 to 20:00 there will be two queues. Industrial enterprises and businesses will operate according to power restriction schedules from 5:00 to 23:00.
The reason for the restrictions is damage to energy infrastructure following the massive missile-drone attack on November 28. Energy workers continue emergency recovery work to restore the damaged equipment.
Electricity consumption remains high and corresponds to seasonal indicators. On December 4, a daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning, exceeding the previous working day's figures by 3.7%.
To support the electricity system, Ukraine will import electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova. The total import volume will amount to 12,447 MWh with a maximum capacity of up to 851 MW during certain hours.
