Retirement in 2025: How much work experience will Ukrainians need.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Donetsk region reminded how much experience is needed for retirement by age in 2025.

The determination of pension age depends on two factors: work experience and the person's age. Depending on the experience, pensions can be received at 60, 63, or 65 years old.

A special significance is given to the pension at 60 years old - to collect it, you need a certain insurance experience, which increases by 1 year each year. Starting from 2028, to retire at 60, one must have 35 years of experience.

Below is the retirement age in 2025:

• At the age of 60 - you need at least 32 years of insurance experience;
• At the age of 63 - you need at least 22 years of insurance experience;
• At the age of 65 - you need at least 15 years of insurance experience.

Obtaining a pension has now become easier; there are two ways to submit documents:

• Submit everything online on the official website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
• Personally visit any service center of the Pension Fund. For this, the place of residence or registration does not matter - documents will be accepted in any center.

Thus, you can independently choose the most convenient way: to arrange everything online or to visit the nearest center in person.

To retire, you need to have the following documents:

• passport of a citizen of Ukraine (or ID card);
• registration number of the taxpayer's account card;
• documents about insurance experience (work book, diploma for full-Time study, military ID, etc.);
• certificate of salary for any 60 continuous months until 30.06.2000 (if desired);
• bank account details (if payment through bank is chosen);
• photo for the pension certificate (2.5x3);
• marriage certificate in case of surname change;
• documents confirming the special status of the applicant (veteran's certificate, Honored Donor, presence of special merits before Ukraine, etc.), if any.

Pensions for age are appointed from the day following the day of reaching the pension age, if the application was made no later than three months from the date of reaching that age. If there is information in the register of insured persons about experience before 2004, a pension after 60 years is appointed automatically (without the person's application).
