The defense forces attacked the airfield in Krasnodar Krai, Russia

According to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of February 6, the defense forces attacked the 'Primorsko-Akhtarsky' airfield in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The strike involved units of the UAV forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other parts of the defense forces. The airfield is used for the storage and launch of UAVs of the Shahed type, which operate on the territory of Ukraine and service aviation technology performing tasks in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Confirmed hits, explosions, and fires were reported in the area of the airfield, and results of the attack are currently being determined.

The General Staff emphasized that strikes against facilities involved in Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and terrorism against the civilian population will continue. Earlier, local Telegram channels and the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalенко, reported an attack by drones and explosions in the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area.

It was also reported that drones attacked the 'Albashneft' fuel depot in the Kaniv district, which provided fuel for the Russian armed forces, as well as the Astrakhan gas processing plant.
