Excise tax: how much the state budget received in 2024.

According to the State Tax Service of Ukraine, in 2024, the state budget received 133.6 billion UAH in excise tax on produced and imported excise goods. This figure exceeds last year's by 16.5%, specifically by 18.9 billion UAH. Overall, the budget received 4.3 billion hryvnias more than was planned.

Especially positive results were obtained from the main excise goods. For example, from produced and imported alcoholic beverages, 11 billion UAH was received by the budget, which is 8.5% more than in 2023. The income indicator also increased by 15%, which amounts to 1.4 billion UAH.

Tobacco products also brought significant profit. From produced and imported tobacco products, 96.6 billion UAH was received by the budget. This figure exceeds last year by 20.3%, specifically by 16.3 billion UAH. Overall, revenues from tobacco products were higher by 7.7%.
