A man shot a military officer of the TCK in Poltava Oblast, he has already been caught: all the details.

In the city of Pyriatyn, Poltava Oblast, police detained a man who killed a military officer of the TCK. This was reported by the Poltava TCK and SP on their Facebook.

According to the military recruitment office, police detained both suspects and seized the weapon they stole from the military officer of the TCK.

The murder occurred on February 1 at a gas station in Pyriatyn. A group of conscripts, together with TCK employees, were escorting military personnel to the training center. At the gas station, a masked man in camouflage pants approached one of the military officers, armed with a hunting rifle. He demanded that the military officer hand over the weapon, but after refusal, he shot the military officer from a short distance, took the weapon, and disappeared along with one of the conscripts.

The group commander provided first aid to the wounded and called an ambulance, but the medics could not save his life - the man died. He was left without a husband, father, and grandfather.

The military recruitment office of Poltava Oblast expressed condolences to the soldier's family and loved ones and urged citizens not to impede the work of the TCK and SP, as this can have catastrophic consequences.

The military recruitment office reminded that those who interfere with the lawful work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a significant extent during this period, leading to people's deaths, may be sentenced to 8-15 years of imprisonment (part 2 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The head of the police of Poltava Oblast, Yevhen Rohachov, reported that law enforcement found the fugitives several hours after the crime. The shooter turned out to be a resident of Poltava Oblast born in 1984, and his accomplice is a resident of Poltava born in 1988.

Now the issue of applying a preventive measure against them is being resolved.
