The government provides grants for university education

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine explained the conditions for obtaining grants for university education.

Deputy Minister Mykhailo Vynnytskyi announced this during the telethon.

According to the new rules, students who have successfully passed the national entrance test but did not make it to the budget will be able to receive a grant at the university for the first Time.

The size of the grant will range from 15 to 25 thousand hryvnias and will depend on the specialty and score. Applicants will be able to check the possibility of receiving a grant in their applicant's cabinet.

Vynnytskyi advises students to check the cost of contract-based education in advance and take this information into account when choosing priorities. Not all universities may participate in the program, especially private ones where the cost of education is below the standard.

It is also worth noting that the educational grant is not related to employment and is provided non-refundable.
