How to find out about the EIC code of housing without a receipt

In the gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine, they explained how to find out about the EIC code of housing - the personal gas number of the gas supply object. This was reported by the company's press service in response to a client inquiry under a post on Facebook.

This unique number plays an important role in the gas supply system, allowing not only to accurately identify a specific object but also to simplify the interaction between consumers and gas supply companies. Meanwhile, some Ukrainians are interested in how to find it out if there is no receipt.

'Good afternoon, how to find out about the EIC code if there is no receipt?', the message says.

In response, Naftogaz explained that the EIC code of housing 'personal gas number' of the gas supply object (point of accounting of the gas supply object) is assigned to an apartment by the local gas distribution operator.

In particular, information about the EIC code can be found:

• in the personal account of the gas distribution operator;
• in the gas supply contract, if you have it stored in paper form (an integral part of the contract is the accession application, there must be a code);
• in the gas distribution bill;
• by calling the hotline of the current gas distribution company.
