PFU showed who receives 200 thousand hryvnias in pension in Ukraine.
Ukrainian MPs with the highest pensions
According to the declarations of the people's deputies published on the NAK website, the largest pension among the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada is received by Vasyl Nimchenko. His pension amounts to 192,136 hryvnias per month. He retired as a judge, so his pension is officially referred to as 'lifetime monetary maintenance'.
Nimchenko is the only member of parliament who must update his declaration due to the high amount of his pension.
Since 2023, Vasyl Nimchenko has received a total of 2,243,481 hryvnias in pension, which averages 186,956 hryvnias per month. This amount is almost three times his salary as a member of the Verkhovna Rada.
Vasyl Nimchenko worked as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and was a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court.
Some judges receive even higher pensions:
- Bohdan Poshva, a retired Supreme Court judge, receives a monthly pension of 262,000 hryvnias.
- Anzhela Zhyznevskaya, a former judge of the Zhytomyr Appellate Administrative Court, received a pension of 1,997,741 hryvnias for 2023, averaging 166,400 hryvnias per month.
The average pension of Ukrainian judges has increased from 99,837 to 106,057 hryvnias in the first nine months of 2024.
