Border guards near the border with Romania discovered the body of a man who planned to illegally cross the border. This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
The SBSU message states: "The discovery was reported to the border guards by local residents. The body, which had been lying in the forest for several months, likely belongs to a Ukrainian citizen born in 1980 from Chernihiv region".

Border guards assumed that the man of conscription age tried to illegally leave the territory of Ukraine to evade mobilization. The data is being clarified.
We remind you that possession of a military ID when crossing the border is mandatory for all men aged 18 to 60. The document can be either paper or electronic.
As reported, starting from July 17, 2024, men aged 18 to 60 will not be allowed to leave Ukraine without a military ID.
