Bookmakers' Predictions: Sweden – the Main Favorite of Eurovision 2025.

Bookmakers' Predictions for Eurovision 2025
Just hours before the start of the first semi-final of the 69th Eurovision contest, bookmakers updated their odds. Sweden has further strengthened its position as the leader thanks to the performance of the band KAJ with the song 'Bara bada bastu'. According to 'Glavkom' and Eurovisionfun, this performer has the highest chances of winning.
The Swedish band tops all ratings with an average coefficient of 1.91.
After the rehearsals and dress rehearsals that allowed the press and fans to assess the performances of the contestants, significant fluctuations occurred in the bookmaker odds. Sweden became the main beneficiary of these changes, significantly increasing its lead over the closest competitors.
Austria with Jay-Jay's song 'Wasted Love' holds the second position, but its odds have risen to 4.33. Israel unexpectedly rose to third place, offering a payout of 19 times.
Unexpected Changes in Ratings
A true revelation was Belgium. The performance of 'Red Sebastian' amazed the audience, allowing the country to rapidly rise to fourth place with odds of 10-21. There is a possibility that Belgium will overtake Israel, showing the best result since 2017.
France, on the contrary, lost two positions. The performer Luan could not maintain interest after the second rehearsal, and her odds rose to 21.00.
Who Will Make It to the Final?
The top ten also includes the Netherlands, Switzerland, Estonia, and Malta. Ukraine with the band Ziferblat and the song 'Bird of Pray' has a high chance of making it to the final, ranking fifth in the semi-final with odds below 1.05. However, in the overall ranking, our country is currently in 14th place.
Bookmakers consider the passage to the final for Sweden, Estonia, the Netherlands, Albania, and Ukraine to be almost guaranteed. Poland, Belgium, Cyprus, and Norway also have high chances. The last place in the final will likely be contested between San Marino and Slovenia.
Innovations and Schedule
The European Broadcasting Union has made changes to the procedure for announcing finalists, which will come into effect today, May 13.
The first semi-final will take place on May 13 under the theme 'Where It All Began' – in honor of Switzerland as the founder of the contest. The second semi-final on May 15 will be dedicated to loyal Eurovision fans.
The bookmaker predictions show that Eurovision 2025 promises to be intense with unexpected results, making each stage exciting for viewers.
