Syrsky reported how many targets Ukrainian fighters attacked with drones in December.
Ukrainian fighters destroyed over 54 thousand targets using drones
In December 2024, Ukrainian fighters attacked over 54 thousand targets using drones, of which 49% were destroyed by kamikaze drones. This was reported by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.
It is noted that the best result was shown by the 46th Air Assault, 57th Motorized Infantry, 28th Mechanized, 35th Marine Corps brigades, and the 3rd Assault Brigade.
Syrsky also noted that there is a dynamic 'improvement in the performance and survivability metrics of our drone systems.'
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the Russian Federation is increasingly using strike UAVs with a fiber-optic control channel, which poses a threat to the military equipment of the Ukrainian forces. This technology has also been adopted by Ukraine, particularly in FPV drones, expanding the capabilities to target Russian military equipment and personnel.
The number of brigades with drone components is also increasing in the Defense Forces.
We remind you that the 1047th day of the full-scale war is ongoing.
In total, there were 149 combat clashes in the past day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely counter the enemy, who is trying to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.
The enemy carried out 31 airstrikes in the past day, dropping 48 guided aerial bombs (GAB) and using 709 kamikaze drones to strike. Approximately 3500 shellings of our military positions and populated areas were conducted.
The situation in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions is the most tense.
