Bohdan Beniuk

Bohdan Mykhailovych Beniuk is a Ukrainian theater and film actor, television presenter, and people's artist of Ukraine (1996). He is the artistic director of the Podil Theater. A people's deputy of the VII convocation from the Svoboda party.

Date of birth: 26.05.1957.

Place of birth. Education. He was born in the Dnipro region of Ukraine. He graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary.

Creative career. Beniuk began his acting career in 1975 while in his second year of studies. He appeared in a film by the well-known director and actor Leonid Bykov, "Aty-baty, idut sholdany." His first theater role came in 1977.

From 1978 to 1980, he worked at the Theater for Young Viewers.

Since 1980, he has been an actor at the Kyiv Academic Drama Theater named after I. Franko, becoming one of the leading actors of the theater.
