Boris Mikhailovich Zhebrovsky - Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine

Date of Birth: 24.09.1948

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Wilschanka in the Kirovohrad region. In 1972, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Kharkiv University of Gorky and the Historical and Philological Faculty of the Lobachevsky University of Gorky. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.

Career. He began his professional career at the age of 17 as an educator in school.

He worked for a long time in the Urals. After returning to Ukraine, he taught.

He was the first Deputy Head of the Main Department of Education in Kyiv, then for almost nine years, the Head of the Main Department of Education and Science of the Kyiv City Government.

2005-2007 - first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (Stanislav Nikolaenko).

2008-2009 - work in the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On January 26, 2011, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych dismissed Boris Zhebrovsky from the position of first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine by his decree No. 124/2011.
On February 28, 2013, Boris Zhebrovsky was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine by the decree of the President of Ukraine No. 105/2013.
In March 2014, Boris Zhebrovsky was dismissed from the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Social Activities. Since 1999, he has been the President of the International Educational Club of European Capitals. Since 2002, he has been the President of the All-Ukrainian Montessori Teacher Association of Ukraine.

Awards. Honored Worker in the Field of Education of Ukraine. Awarded the Order 'For Merit' of the III degree (2003).

Family. Married. He has one son and one granddaughter.
