Place of Birth. Education. Born in Shcherlova Gora, Transbaikalia Region, Russia. PhD student at T. Shevchenko Chernihiv National University.

2nd place at the European Championship 2006.

1st place at the World Championship 2007.

Bronze medalist at the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. In the clean and jerk, N. Davydova lifted 115 kg, in the snatch 135 kg (total 250 kg). She was surpassed by athletes from Russia (2nd place, 255 kg total) and China (1st place, 286 kg total, world record).

In August 2016 the re-analysis of doping samples of athletes from the Olympic Games in Beijing showed that the samples of Natalia Davydova and several other weightlifters tested positive. Anabolics (Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone) were found in the sample of the Ukrainian weightlifter. She was provisionally suspended while the investigation is ongoing. On November 17, 2016 the International Olympic Committee decided to disqualify Natalia Davydova, annul her results at the Olympic Games in Beijing, and deprive her of the Olympic bronze medal she won at those Games.
