Alexander Anatolyevich Kachura - Ukrainian MP of the IX Congress, lawyer of the Sluga Naroda party and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, external adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, Doctor of Law.

Place of Birth, Education. Born on August 18, 1990, in Konotop, Sumy Region.

In 2012, he graduated from the International Financial University with a degree in 'International Management'.

In 2013, he graduated summa cum laude from the State Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' with a degree in 'Law'.

In 2015, he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in 'Political Science'.

In 2016, he received a Doctorate in Law, defending his doctoral thesis at the Scientific Research Institute of Informatics and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.

Career. He worked as a senior specialist, lawyer, and lawyer's assistant in various law firms.

Since 2012, he has been running a private law practice in Kyiv.

In March 2019, Kachura Lawyers won the case to block the series 'Svaty' in the interest of Kvartal 95 studio.

He is a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and is also a member of the expert council of the Verkhovna Rada regarding changes to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Political Career. In the parliamentary elections of 2019, he was elected as a deputy of the Sluga Naroda party, No. 49 on the list.

Since August 29, 2019 - Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development, and Urban Planning, Deputy Member of the Permanent Delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

On December 12, 2019, he became a member of the inter-factional group 'Gumanaya Strana', which was established at the initiative of UAnimals to promote humanitarian values and protect animals from cruelty.

He is a member of the expert council of the Verkhovna Rada VIII Congress regarding amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Awards. In 2018, he was named the best lawyer in Ukraine by the Bar Association.
