Wladimir Michailovych Campo - former judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

Place of Birth, Education. Born in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian Oblast. From 1967-1972 - student at the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. From 1972-1975 - PhD candidate at Lviv and Moscow State University.

Career. He began his professional career in 1965 in the commercial sector.

From 1975-1992, he worked as an assistant, lecturer, and head of the department at the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

From 1992-1995, he held positions as Deputy Chairman of the Legal Affairs Collegium, assistant, Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Bar Association, and Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament's Commission for Legal Affairs and Judicial Reform.

From 1996-2006, he was the head of the departments of law at the Kyiv State Institute of Culture, the Ukrainian Center for Legal Studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and the Academy of Municipal Administration.

In November 2005, he was appointed as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by President Viktor Yushchenko. He took the oath of office on August 4, 2006.

Expert in constitutional, administrative, municipal, and corporate law. Author of over 400 publications, including six monographs (as co-author and individual sections), more than 20 textbooks and brochures. Involved in the development of the draft Constitution of Ukraine (1992-1993) and about 50 bills.

In September 2013, he was dismissed from his position as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by a decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych upon reaching the maximum permissible age of 65 for his position. Wladimir Campo reached the maximum permissible age of 65 for his position.

Awards. Doctor of Law, lecturer. Honored Lawyer of Ukraine. Awarded the Order of 'For Merit' III class.
