Place of birth. Education. Born on April 20, 1962, in Kryvyi Rih. In 1981, he graduated from Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical College (Metallurgical Technician). In 1986, he graduated from Kryvyi Rih Mining and Ore Institute (Mineral Processing, Mining Engineer-Processor).
Career. 1986-2004 - Mill operator, production manager, deputy head of the main production section of the processing plant, deputy head of the technical control department, chief processor of the operational management, senior processor of the processing operation, head of the processing plant of PAO Southern Mining and Processing Plant (YuzhGOK, Kryvyi Rih).
2004-2005 - Senior processor, director of production of PAO Central Mining and Processing Plant.
2005-2006 - Production director of PAO Northern Mining and Processing Plant.
2006-2009 - Head of production department, head of the production department of a structural company of the mining and ore division of OOO Metinvestholding (key owners of Metinvest Holding - billionaires Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky).
From March to October 2009, he was executive director - chief engineer of PAO Central GOK.
From October 2009 to April 2010 - general director of PAO Central GOK.
From April to September 2010 - acting chairman of the board of PAO Southern Mining and Processing Plant.
From September 2010 to February 2013 - chairman of the board of PAO Southern Mining and Processing Plant.
On February 5, 2013, he was appointed Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine by decree of President Viktor Yanukovych.
On February 27, 2014, he was dismissed as head of the Ministry of Economic Development by decision of the Supreme Council.
From May 2014 until June 30, 2020 - chairman of the board - general director of LLC 'Zaporizhzhya Iron Ore Plant'.
Public activities. 2006-2010 - Deputy of the City Council of Kryvyi Rih for the Party of Regions.
Since 2010, he has been a deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council for the PR.
