Mazurchak Alexander

Date of Birth: 30.06.1959

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Khodorivtsi in the Kamianets-Podilskyi District of the Chmelnytskyi Region. In 1982, he graduated from the Chmelnytskyi Institute of Technology in the field of household services (machines and equipment of the light industry, engineering mechanics). In 2003, he graduated from the Chmelnytskyi Institute of Regional Administration and Law (law sciences, lawyer). In 2008, he graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine (public development, Master of Public Development).

Career. 1976-1977 - Worker at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Sugar Factory.

1982-1985 - Chief mechanic of the Chmelnytskyi production tricot company of the Ministry of Light Industry of the Ukrainian SSR.

1985-1996 - Head of the sector for state supervision over the state of measuring instruments for mechanical quantities, head of the sector in the field of state supervision over standards and quality of products, state examination and metrological certification of measuring instruments of the Chmelnytskyi Center for Standardization and Metrology.

1996-1997 - Deputy Director - Head of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Branch of the Chmelnytskyi State Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification.

1997-1998 - Secretary of the City Council of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

From April 1998 to January 2008 - Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

From January to September 2008 - Deputy, First Deputy Minister for Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Oleksiy Kucherenko.

From September 2008 to March 2009 - First Deputy Minister for Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine - Head of the State Housing and Communal Supervision.

From March to July 2009 - First Deputy Minister for Housing and Communal Services. Then from March 2010 - again First Deputy Minister - Head of the State Housing and Communal Supervision.

From April to June 2010 - Deputy Minister for Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Oleksandr Popov.

Since June 2010 - Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City Administration (initially - Leonid Chernovetskyi, then - Popov). Mazurchak was tasked with overseeing matters of housing and communal services, fuel and energy.

As of December 16, 2010 - First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City Administration under Popov. At his own request, he was dismissed on March 27, 2013. He took responsibility for the difficulties caused by the heavy snowfall that hit the capital on March 22-23.

On April 9, 2013 - December 2013, Mazurchak was an advisor to the Chairman of the Kyiv City Administration. He coordinated the work of all full-time advisors to the Chairman of the Kyiv City Administration, as well as advisors working on a non-profit basis. His responsibilities also included coordinating the activities of the Research Institute for Socioeconomic Development of the City.

From December 2013 to March 2014 - Mayor of the Pecherskyi District in Kyiv.

Since June 2015 co-chairman of the political party Our Edge.

Family. Wife - Tetiana Vasylivna - Entrepreneur, daughter - Olena (born 1982), son - Vitaliy (born 1986), daughter - Kateryna (born 1990).
