Igor Nasalyk

Igor Stepanovich Nasalyk - Deputy of the III., IV. and VIII. Congresses, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry (2016-2019). He served three times as the Mayor of Kalush in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the city of Oleksandriya in the Kirovohrad region. In 1989, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Career. After his military service, he worked as a driver at ATP 12640 in Rohatyn from 1987 to 1988.

In 2002, he was elected as a candidate of the electoral block of political parties led by Viktor Yushchenko, Our Ukraine, in constituency No. 86 (Ivano-Frankivsk) to the Verkhovna Rada of the IV. Congress.

In the 2006 local elections, he was elected as the Mayor of Kalush and was re-elected to this position in 2010.

From November 2014 to April 2016, he was a Deputy of Ukraine in the VIII. Congress. He was elected as a candidate of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc in constituency No. 85 (Ivano-Frankivsk) to the Verkhovna Rada.
