Alexei Omelyanenko

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kyiv. In 1994, he graduated from the Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in Finance and Credit.

Career. After graduation, he worked at the National Bank of Ukraine as an economist in the control department for monitoring standards in organizational management of bank supervision. From 1995 to 1997, he worked at the Shareholders' Bank of Ukraine and was, at the time of his dismissal, the Deputy General Director of the JSC Currency and Settlement Center Bank Ukraine. From 1997 to 2004, he was an employee of the Shareholders' Bank Ukrgazbank. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrgazbank. Since 2003, he has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC Kyivgorsroy-1 in Zagorodniy. Honorary President of the company. As of April 1, 2004, he was the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrainian Insurance Group. From May 2005 to November 2007, he was an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrainian Insurance Group.

Political Activity. City council deputy of the V-VI convocation from the Party of Regions. Faction leader of the Regions. In the City Council of the VI convocation, he was a member of the permanent committee for land relations, urban planning, and architecture.

In his opinion, Omelyanenko is the creation of Vasiliy Gorbaly (former deputy of the Regions, Honorary President of Ukrgazbank).

Family. Omelyanenko is married and has four daughters and two sons.
