Sergey Polkhovskiy was born in Kyiv. In 1972, he graduated from the journalism faculty of Kyiv State University named after T. Shevchenko.
Career.
After the army, from 1974 to 1979, Polkhovskiy worked at the 'Kyivnauchfilm' studio.
After that, he moved to 'Ukrtelefilm', where he worked as an editor and screenwriter until 1994. He participated in the creation of several films. In particular, he was the author of the scripts for the films 'Six Minutes in the Yellow Circle' and 'The Suitcase', directed by V. Vasylenko, 'Don't Close Your Doors' directed by Y. Minzyanov, 'UFO from 1908' directed by V. Obraza.
In 1995, Sergey Polkhovskiy became the host of the author’s program 'Music Box' on FM radio 'Radio Roks'.
In 1997, he wrote the script for the film 'Trace' directed by V. Olender.
Since 1997, he has been working at the 1+1 television channel. Initially as the author and host of the weekly program 'ProSport' (which operated until 2000). Since 1998, he also began to host the program 'TSN ProSport' (sports blocks of news releases).
From 2000 to 2006, he was the press attaché of FC 'Dynamo' (Kyiv).
From April 2004, he was the general director of 'Dynamo Kyiv TV'.
From 2007 to April 2008, he was the director of the media center of FC 'Dynamo' (Kyiv).
In 2016, he was the producer of the documentary film 'Lobanovskyi Forever'.
