Juri Hryhorovych Sawruk - Ukrainian law enforcement officer, former First Deputy Attorney General. Acting Attorney General of Ukraine (from April 3 to May 12, 2016). Vice President of the National Academy of Prosecutors of Ukraine (2016-2019).
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Shytomyr. In 1997, Juri Sawruk graduated from the National Law Academy named after Yaroslav the Wise.
Career. 1991 - Carpenter at the production association Shytomyrholz.
From May 1997 to February 1998 - Trainee as Senior Investigator of the Shytomyr Prosecutor's Office.
From February 1998 to July 1999 - Senior Investigator of the Shytomyr Prosecutor's Office.
From July 1999 to November 2001 - Senior Investigator of the Investigation Department of the Shytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Office.
From November 2001 to October 2002 - Deputy District Attorney of Novohrad-Volynskyi (now Svyatohirsk) in the Shytomyr region.
From October 2002 to January 2003 - Head of the Department for Monitoring Compliance with the Law by the SBU, Customs, and Border Guard Authorities when conducting operational and investigative activities, investigations, and pre-trial investigations of the Shytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Office.

On September 12, 2019, Juri Sawruk was dismissed from his position as First Deputy Attorney General by Ruslan Riaboshapka.
