Halyna Nikolaivna Tretiakova — Member of Parliament

Date of birth: 21.01.1963.

Place of birth. Education. Born on January 21, 1963, in the village of Novokubanka, Tselinograd region, Kazakhstan. After finishing school, she studied at the Kharkiv Aviation Institute. She graduated from the International Institute of Market Relations and Entrepreneurship (Master of Finance) and the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She is also a candidate of economic sciences.

Career. In 2017, she founded and headed the public organization "Institute of Civil Freedoms." She was the head of the public council at the Pension Fund of Ukraine. She was also a member of the board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine and was part of public councils at ministries (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Policy, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Revenues and Duties of Ukraine). She was the general director of the Ukrainian Insurance Federation and an expert for the "Reanimation Package of Reforms."

Political Career. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, she was elected as a member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party, No. 54 on the list. Since 2019, she has been the chair of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights Protection. She is also a member of the delegation for participation in the Trilateral Contact Group and a representative in the working subgroup on humanitarian issues.

Scandals. On January 2, 2020, in an interview, she stated that pensioners in territories occupied by Russia have the right to two pensions. On June 24, 2020, she stated that she considers children born in low-income families to be "children of very low quality" and cited Singapore as an example, where there was a practice of sterilizing "insufficiently educated" women.

Family. Married. She has four children: two sons and two daughters.
