Wladimir Worobjew

Date of Birth: 27.06.1951
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Jenakijewe, Donetsk Oblast. In 1971, he graduated from the Saratov Military Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, and in 1983 from the M. Frunze Military Academy (Moscow).
Career. He began his service as a platoon commander.
After the collapse of the USSR:
- Commander of the 4th Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine,
- Commander of the 20th Separate Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,
- Commander of the 4th Division of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,
- Head of the Eastern Territorial Command of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,
- Pro-Rector of the Donetsk Legal Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Distance Learning - Head of the Distance Learning Department at Donetsk National University,
- Head of the Scientific Research Center for the Activities of the Internal Troops of the Academy of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On April 6, 2010, he was appointed by presidential decree from Viktor Yanukovych as the head of the Main Department - Commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. He was dismissed on July 22 of the same year.
Awards. Major General. Awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree.
