Enemy losses as of August 4, 2024 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Russia's losses in the war as of August 4, 2024

RF in the war with Ukraine as of August 4 has lost:

• personnel ‒ about 582910 (+1150) people,
• tanks ‒ 8411 (+5) units,
• armored combat vehicles ‒ 16255 (+17) units,
• artillery systems ‒ 16276 (+59) units,
• MLRS ‒ 1138 (+3) units,
• air defense systems ‒ 911 (+3) units,
• aircraft ‒ 363 (+0) units,
• helicopters ‒ 326 (+0) units,
• operational-tactical UAVs ‒ 13103 (+41),
• cruise missiles ‒ 2412 (+2),
• ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
• submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
• vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 22006 (+80) units,
• special equipment ‒ 2734 (+11).

Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of August 4:

• In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
• There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
• In the Mediterranean Sea, two enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was passed by:

• to the Black Sea – seven ships, of which six continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
• to the Sea of Azov – six ships, of which three moved from the Bosphorus Strait.

Enemy aviation system losses as of August 4:

On the night of August 4, 2024, the enemy struck with two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles at Kharkiv region, two Kh-59 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region at Poltava region, and five Shahed attack UAVs, the launch area was Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The forces and means of the mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the radio-electronic warfare units of the Air Force shot down five Shahed-131/136 UAVs in Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
