The last day of competition at the Biathlon World Cup started with the women's relay. 17 countries participated, including Ukraine.

The Ukrainian team ran the relay with a modified lineup compared to the stage in Kontiolahti. Instead of Oleksandra Merkushyna, Anna Kryvonos ran, and the starting order of other biathletes also changed.

How did the women's relay go?

Kristina Dmytrenko completed both shootings flawlessly, not spending a single additional cartridge. This allowed the Ukrainian biathlete to finish sixth, 22.5 seconds behind Frenchwoman Julia Simon.

Yulia Dzhima also maintained sixth place. After the first shooting, the biathlete was even in second place, but lost her position due to two additional cartridges and increased Ukraine's lag to 49.5 seconds.

Anna Kryvonos almost held the sixth position. She spent only one additional cartridge, but on the last lap, she lost to the leader - Frenchwoman Sophie Chavot - by 50 seconds.

Olena Horodnia gained two positions at the end. She overtook representatives from Poland and the Czech Republic but could not challenge Norwegian Maren Kirkeide.

In the end, Ukraine finished in seventh place. In terms of accuracy, the Ukrainian biathletes were the second-best in the race, having spent five additional cartridges, conceding only to Germany.
