Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced changes in content moderation across the corporation's social networks. He stated that the fact-checking program will be replaced by a user community-driven system. These changes will affect Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.

Zuckerberg noted that correcting errors in the moderation system is a significant issue. The company will also change its content moderation policy regarding political topics to increase the amount of political content in users' feeds.

A major factor influencing the company's decision was the American elections. According to Zuckerberg, these changes aim to reduce mistakes, simplify policy, and restore freedom of speech.

Meta will restructure its automated moderation systems to focus on detecting violations of high severity, particularly those related to drugs, terrorism, and child exploitation.

Meanwhile, users will be able to report violations related to posts about immigration and gender.

It was previously reported that Meta canceled plans for a nuclear data processing center due to rare bees living on the construction site. Additionally, Mark Zuckerberg is building a large complex in Hawaii, which will become one of the most expensive constructions in modern history.
