In Finland, the largest sand battery in the world has already started operating, which will help reduce carbon emissions from the local heating network. A sand battery is a reservoir filled with crushed talc that can store energy and release it when needed.Chinese scientists have managed to accelerate laser communication to a record speed of 1 Gbit/s, which is five times faster than Starlink.
