In Ukraine, schoolchildren will be taught to operate FPV drones.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has approved an updated list of teaching aids and equipment for teaching the subject 'Defense of Ukraine' in general secondary education institutions. Thus, schoolchildren will be taught to operate drones. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education.
Therefore, a new list of equipment for the subject 'Defense of Ukraine' has been approved in Ukraine: from drone simulators to modern first aid equipment. The list includes:
- simulators for controlling FPV drones with computers;
- interactive laser shooting simulators;
- tablets for education;
- modern multimedia equipment.
Mannequins for training in resuscitation and first aid, tourniquets and means to stop bleeding, tactical medicine kits, and simulators for practicing skills in providing assistance in case of injuries are also provided. Among the protective equipment are updated helmets and bulletproof vests, gas masks with quality certificates, and means of chemical protection. Among the technical means are drones for practical training, radios to study the basics of communication, and elements of a training track.
The Ministry of Education explains that the updated equipment will help prepare students for the use of modern technologies in the field of security, teach first aid skills, develop critical thinking and resilience to misinformation, and also form practical skills for actions in emergency situations.
