The first three registries in Ukraine have been restored following the hacker attack

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reports that eleven days after the largest hacker attack on Russians in Ukraine, the first three registries have been restored. This means that notaries can once again register powers of attorney, wills, and inheritance cases, as well as verify special forms.

It is noted that all notarial actions carried out during the period of inaccessible registries will be entered within five working days. In addition, an enhanced cybersecurity measure has been announced.

Work continues on the restoration of other registries. In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has temporarily disconnected certain services related to vehicles, in particular, the scrapping of cars.

Olha Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine, stated that this hacker attack negatively affects the functioning of many systems that use data from the registries. Earlier, the Ministry of Justice projected the timelines for restoring the registries after this cyberattack.
