Repeated tests for the Military Medical Commission are not mandatory until the expiration of the previous tests. However, there are cases when such tests are necessary primarily in the interests of the military conscript.
Lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan wrote about this on the 'Yuristy.UA' portal.
Who decides on repeated tests
A citizen contacted the lawyer and asked about the expiration dates of the tests conducted for the Military Medical Commission.
The man specifically asked whether repeated tests for the Military Medical Commission were required.
'This should be decided by a specialist doctor. If it is necessary to confirm changes in health status,' the lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan emphasized in his response to the citizen.
Repeated tests are mandatory
The lawyer stressed that repeated tests are not needed in and of themselves if the expiration date of the previous ones has not passed.
However, there are cases when it is necessary to do them.
'If there is a deterioration in health, then for a repeated Military Medical Commission, a conclusion from a specialist doctor must be redone,' Aivazyan assured.Repeated tests for the Military Medical Commission may be optional, but in the case of deterioration in health status or the need to confirm changes, their conduct may become mandatory. It is the specialist doctor who decides whether it is necessary to conduct repeated tests, as the main goal is to determine the military conscript's readiness for service.
