On January 9, it has been a year since the death of the People's Artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Bilonozhko. According to his wife Svitlana Bilonozhko, his closest people gathered at the artist's grave.

In her speech, Svitlana Bilonozhko stated: 'It has been exactly a year since you have been with us, Vitalik. And today all friends, relatives, and close ones came to you. Rest in peace, and we love you and will always love you.'

During the meeting, relatives shared memories of Vitaliy Bilonozhko, and then gathered for a memorial lunch. Svitlana Bilonozhko expressed her gratitude to the friends with whom the artist felt very warm and cozy. She also added: 'Eternal memory to our unique Vitaliy.'

Vitaliy Bilonozhko was born on June 11, 1953. He performed as a soloist of the Kyiv Estrada Theater on Podol and the State Television and Radio. He also worked as a lecturer at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.

The artist is known for his songs such as 'Ukraine, Mother', 'God, grant Ukraine freedom!', 'Let's sing together, brothers', 'Enchantress', 'So that you were happy'.

He was also the founder and organizer of the International Family Creativity Festival 'Melody of Two Hearts'.

The farewell to Vitaliy Bilonozhko took place at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, where his songs were played, and videos of his concerts were shown. The artist's wife Svitlana Bilonozhko received condolences from everyone who came to honor the legend of the stage.
