The forecast for the beginning of the week promises Ukrainians true heat. On Sunday, July 6, hot weather without precipitation is expected, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees, and in Transcarpathia and the southern regions, it may reach up to 33 degrees. Only the northeastern regions will cool down to 21-26 degrees. The capital will also be hot, with temperatures up to 29 degrees.
Reminder from the geophysical observatory: the record high temperature in Kyiv was recorded in 2022 when the thermometer climbed to 34.3 degrees, and the lowest night temperature was recorded in 1912 - 7.9 degrees. On Monday, July 7, even higher temperatures are forecasted, from 30 to 34 degrees, with possible short-term rains and thunderstorms in the western part of the country.
The weather forecast for the beginning of the week is confirmed by high temperatures and possible precipitation with thunderstorms in the west of the country. During these days, it is better to be cautious and take safety measures in conditions of heat and thunderstorms.
